Of the options available tot a 2WD, there are only a couple for a lift of this type. I decided on Maxtrac after reading other reviews. I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab 2WD Express 5.7L. I WAS able to reuse the OEM 20 X 9 factory wheel. I checked and the BS was (I believe 5.5”) which exceeds the recommended size but that is in the 17” wheel. It will fit with some additional clearance it appears as well. I opted for 35” Firestone Destination MT/2. The truck suspension was very bouncy before the lift kit was installed. The truck site considerably higher but the dilemma is that I did not want to go any taller (37” tires will fit) but I would have liked to have filled in the wheel well more. You will want to have running boards since it’s way too high to climb in without them. My truck DID require the shin kit sold separately. The ride after the lift is amazing! I have taken it off raiding and it performed well. I purchased the kit with the Maxtrac shocks. They are on. I should have tried to install the Fox Shocks but they were about $500 more. The shop recommended that I use and wear out the Maxtrac then swap them (which is very easy to do) for Fox Shocks later. Exactly what I hoped for.

Lift was a bit harder to install than we expected. However it came out very well. Drives like a dream, very smooth. Will definitely recommend these lifts to other 2wd drivers.

I purchased this kit not really sure if it was going to be as noticeable of a difference as I wanted and I will say that it is exactly what I was going for. Love the look and love the fact that the truck still drives and shears like a stock truck.

Installed on my new 2017 dodge ram 1500 2wd. Looks great. Installed with 20"x12.5"x35 tires on metal moto 962 rims and it looks super great. Couldn't be any happier
