    Good lift but turning suffers

Posted by KN on Jan 26, 2023

I got these for my 2021 Chevy Silverado because I liked the way the truck rode with the factory suspension. These keep the ride nice and stock, but the turning radius definitely suffers. It takes a full extra lane's width to do a u-turn. Additionally at full lock, I hear clinking every now and then, which LTW Motor Sports said is the turning stops contacting and needing anti seize on them regularly. You can easily get 35x12.5 tires with these at zero offset on the wheels. Also the front tires will have a little more poke than the rear because the spindle lift pushes the wheels out. I haven't measured it, But i would say about a half inch to 3/4th inch more poke on the front wheels. I was thinking of adding some shims to the rear wheels to help with a fluid poke and maybe getting a small amount of turning radius back. Overall, I like the ride, but the clinking does concern me. The turning radius is a bummer as well, but this is a decent lift for the price.
